The Role
It was a very rewarding experience
I felt perfectly comfortable and trusted by all colleagues
Advice was always available when requested
Always had a job to do, never left awkwardly asking if I could help out
Was responsible for plenty of my own projects as well as specific sections of other projects. Was not redoing other people's work or shadowing.
Excel and accounting system skills acquired will be invaluable to me in the future.
The Company
Everybody was very welcoming and bubbly
The process was completely seamless
Was sent to a training centre for 2 days to develop business impact as well as weekly conference calls with senior partners to learn from their experience.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Employment prospects are good if you perform well on the internship and demonstrate the appropriate values.
The Culture
Encouraged to socialise and organise events as well as lots of events being organised for us
London based so relatively expensive although there are regional offices
London nightlife is fantastic
Loads of opportunities to go on away days and other activities
