The Role
Enjoyed is so much I decided to stay for longer.
I was not doing work related to theirs, but they knew the value of my training.
My mentor and manager were always great at explaining difficult bits. I could talk to anyone in the office about any problems I had.
First 4 weeks were quite light, because of the training exercise, but then I was included in more serious work, which needed to be completed promptly.
Training exercise for starters, then implementing minor features and fixing software bugs.
Very applicable to my further studies and future job. I learned tons over 5 weeks.
The Company
Poking fun at each other every other day, nice conversations over lunch and daily ping pong matches.
I wish I had more time to work on more serious things. Quite a lot of time was taken up by training. We also had to waste time to work on a HR project aside from normal work. I didn't find it useful, and after few weeks I found it annoying and in the way of more fascinating tasks.
They wanted me to have essential skills in case I receive a graduate job offer. My internship was also extended, which showed that they are willing to invest more.

With extended internship I have a chance to show that I can belong in the company just fine and hopefully secure a graduate job offer.
The Culture
We were all getting along just fine despite working in different teams.
I live really far away from the offices, so cannot comment on accommodation. Most events were subsidized by the company, even after work.
Are you kidding me? I sleep at night.
Plenty of events, such as a Rounders game, BBQ, walks for charity, fundraisers etc.
