The Role
I enjoyed every aspect of the placement
My colleagues were very welcoming right from the start.
I had two very good supervisors who helped me develop my skills.
Had the odd day or so where things were slow but this was quite rare.
I was given plenty of responsibility right from the get go
The skills that I developed helped me gain a first class degree with honours.
The Company
The atmosphere was friendly.
The placement itself was well organised however a lot of the student run meetings were not carried out in a professional manner.
I was able to go on a great course that looked at the fundamentals of project management also a course called Insights.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Financial Bonus
Would have liked to work on that particular site again it was a very enjoyable place to work.
The Culture
Went out on a few nights out/meals with colleagues.
Only a short train ride away from the city centre so nights out were easy to go to
No nightlife in the actual area but easy access to the city centre for that
Always plenty of invites for various activities outside of work.
