The Role
I really enjoyed the placement and found it totally worthwile and though the job was challenging and at times a struggle it was great for building my experience and confidence in my ability.
Everyone was absolutely lovely and treat me like one of the family. I would love to work professionally for a company where my colleagues are so friendly and look after you.
My line manager was great and frienndly and if I needed advice and support which I often asked for. My manager was also great at allocating me responsibility and then assessing how well I had performed to his expectations.
My daily workload increased as time went on and I gained their trust and they understood my abilities and capabilities. I prefered near the end of the placement when I was given lots of responsibiltiy as I like to be busy and have a constant workload.
A lot of the time I was producing a large amount of the newsletter that was sent to the board to compare competitors and how we could gain over them.
I am much more composed when dealing with work set, this massively helped me out with my dissertation, and I feel that my people and proffessional skills have enhanced greatly.
The Company
It wasn't so much fun but everyone was talkable to and I felt comfortable and welcome with every one of my colleauges.
The company is an amazing company to work for and so everything was unfaultable.
Every month they gave me a bulletin with available training courses I could attend and I just had to pick the relevant or ones I thought would be worthwhile.

I wouldn't hesitate at going back and would jump at the chance. The company is a delight to work for.
The Culture
There were two other placement students who I got close to and they made my lunch half hour and breaks much more enjoyable.
I lived with my friend so I had to use public transport was cheapish but longwinded.
I spent most of my social time in my hometown so I never really experienced Leicester.
There were acitivites such as football matches and staff tournaments as well as drinking nights out.
