The Role
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here at SAP and the experience gained is invaluable
I felt valued by my colleagues verbally
I was given a buddy and a 121's with my line manger and manager every week/every other week. The environment allowed you to go to your managers whenever needed
I was busy but especially so during month ends
I was given a lot of responsibility as time went on. I started covering jobs for two employees when they left
There was some things that will help in my studies though I think it was more the soft skills and work etiquette that will help me in my future. It has also given me motivation for my studies as it puts it into context
The Company
Everyone was friendly across different departments, not a corporate environment
It was organised very well, the knowledge transfer and set up was seamless.
There are many different training available on the portal. I went to a presentation one with an external company which I found extremely useful
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
It is appealing if you are in sales or presales due to the academy. However, they are planning graduate schemes
The Culture
There is a good social scene amongst the placement students. There is a group Facebook account where we organise events
I lived in Hounslow where the cost is quite cheap compared to other areas of London. However, I found it quite expensive to what I was used to.
The nightlife in Feltham is not great but there are great links for good nightlife such as Kingston, Richmond and night buses into central London
There are sports such as football and netball to get involved in. You are also encouraged to set a club up if you want to
