The Role
On a day-to-day basis I really enjoyed my time at SAP. The working environment was great and had a fantastic supportive team. However my role was a bit repetitive completing the same daily task / activities. some of my responsibilities where handed over to
My team was fantastic I felt part of the team instantly. All very supportive
Not much support from management. At SAP you need to actively seek out support rather than it coming to you However once I’d found the correct person to contact they were always very helpful.
In the Commercial Department the workload mirrors the US finical quarter closes. Work loads peaks during March, June September and December ( Also at the end of Months)
A lot responsibility - During my time at SAP I’ve looked after the booking of £137,000,000 (software revenue)
My role is commercial is completely different to my degree so all my training and the extra knowledge I’ve obtained during my 13 months will assist me beyond my degree.
The Company
Relaxed but Professional
The Intern project team looked after the interns to make sure that all interns had seamless integration into their departments.
During your time at SAP you have to invest in your own training and development - so being proactive it the key to self-development.

The Culture
Yes! the social community between the interns at SAP was a fantastic network to have. My commercial team also organised social events such as company meals, social gatherings and days away.
I lived miles away from the office so my cost of living was cheap
Nowhere around the office to socialise after work
Yes football on Wednesdays after work - Netball Tuesdays after work - Golf on Tuesdays after work
