The Role
SAP are a brilliant Organisation to work for and I really enjoyed my placement year with them.
Everyone at SAP is really friendly and helpful. Throughtout my time, I felt I was a key compenent of our teams operation.
There was alot of change during my placement year and I had 4 managers throught my time. It was hard for my managers to guide and support me as they were so busy!
The start was quiet while I was finding my feet and learning all of the systems. After a few months of working there I was busy everyday and had to put in some long working days.
I was given real responsability during my placement. Along with another intern we advised the whole of SAP's UK and Irish sales teams on a specfic sales process. This was a crucial part of global deals
The skills developed at SAP are second to none. They will set you up for any graduate job you wish to pursue in the future.
The Company
Working in sales can be a stressful environment from time to time. The atmosphere in general was good.
At the start I was unprepared for my job role when the previous intern left. I felt the training was not up to scratch.
I had the opportunity to go and get customer facing experience and sales training.
