About You
Very informative view of the stages required within the application process, and a nice relaxed atmosphere with networking breaks to get to know other students.
Lunch was good, there were drinks after the day had finished which allowed us to converse with interns in a more informal environment
Guidance in way of asking us if weneeded help during case study game
Application information lasted an hour and was essential, asking questions on tips one ach stage will hold me in great stead when applying for the summer internship next year
The Company
Stuck to the timings of the day very well, had case study games and then a panel session with current interns and graduates who answered each question thoroughly
Excellent, very spacious room and relaxing so people felt comfortable from the start and case study game allowed us to engage with others easier.
Only a day so wasn't too much the bank could do to train us, but the event was well organised and enjoyable
very much so, speaking with numerous interns and a panel discussion and to start the day there was an hour talk regarding the different division within the bank, so we learnt as much about the structure as possible.
Quite similar to above really
Everything Else
We were to send receipts through pre paid envelopes rather than on the day
Spoke to half the current interns so learnt their day to day responsibilities, and to more experienced workers
As explained before, lunch wad for one hour, then drinks as well, and the panel discussion
There is the chance to be part of fully funded for a masters in economics which was interesting to anyone considering that route
Excellent and informative, the bank really showed a diverse employee network and from a wide range of universities, there is a clear initiative in trying to encapsulate a wider variety of opportunity
