The Role
I was really excited about this internship and it definitely lived up to expectation. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was a great opportunity to learn and to meet new people.
I felt very well supported by my colleagues and my manager. It was a great environment to work and I felt that they treated me fairly and welcomed me into their team.
The guidance and support was definitely second to none. I was given help whenever I asked for it. Everyone was always willing to help and I didn't have any problems in this area.
I was quite busy on a daily basis, but I didn't think I was as busy as some of the other interns. I enjoyed coming in to work every day and the work balance was pretty good.
I was given my own projects to look after and I felt this prepared me for the realities of a full time job at the company. I loved having the responsibility, and as I mentioned before, my team were behind me all the time and were ready to help with any questions that I had.
The skills I have developed will no doubt help me in the future. Once I finish my university degree, I will be looking for a full time job and I'm sure the skills learned here will show up well on my CV.
The Company
The general atmosphere in the office was great It was a really good environment to work in and a major part of this was because of the people around me. They were all very friendly and great to talk to.
I would say that on the whole it was pretty well organised. We had an induction at the start which explained things and got everyone settled. I enjoyed my time on the internship and would recommend it.
The company gives you the training you need. I also did some extra training during the internship on my own accord as was suggested by my manager. The resources are great and really help with learning things that maybe you are not too sure on.
Working from home
I would love to return here to work. The atmosphere was great and the people were also great. The feedback from my colleagues was really good so I'll have to wait for an offer.
The Culture
The social scene was good among the interns and I had a great time with them. I got to know them very well and made some really good friends which was great.
Cost was okay if you can manage it well. Most of the interns were students who live away from home, so were used to managing their own budget. I was in this group and didn't find it too difficult.
Nightlife was excellent with a lot of variety. It's good to have a night out at the end of the week to relax.
There were a few to get involved and network with others, although I would have liked to see a bit more out of work opportunities. I think these are the best for getting to know others from the company.
