The Role
I enjoyed the internship greatly. It was an amazing opportunity to learn and meet new people. The people I met were very inspirational and I learned a lot from them.
I felt very valued. My colleagues did not do anything that caused me to think they they treated me less than their other colleagues. They were very friendly.
From the very beginning I was given the support I needed to get going and throughout the internship, everyone I met was very welcoming and was willing to help me with any problems that I had. It was great to be in this kind of environment.
I was neither too busy nor too relaxed in the office. There was always something to do, but I never felt overwhelmed which was great.
I was given my own projects to work on which meant that I was solely responsible for them. It gave me a lot of experience in managing projects and I take these skills into my future career.
The skills I have developed and improved throughout the internship will help me in my studies and beyond, definitely. I learned a lot and it would be difficult not to draw from the experience in the future.
The Company
My colleagues were very friendly and easy to talk to which created a great atmosphere in the office. I enjoyed working there daily and felt the relaxed atmosphere was excellent to work in.
Great set up from the HR team. Everything was communicated in advance, and overall it was a successful internship with little to complain about.
The internship provides training in the necessary skills and managers encourage you to undertake extra training initiatives. There were a few training events thrown in as well which were great.
Subsidised Canteen
I feel I have done well and the feedback from colleagues has been positive. I will find out soon if I have the job, but I am hopeful. It was great to work here and I would love to come back to work in the future.
The Culture
I made good friends with quite a few of the other interns. We had lunch often together and other events were organised so that we could get to know one another.
Pretty expensive as the office is based in London, but I didn't find it too hard to budget as I was used to it.
The nightlife was great. A lot of variety and there should be something for everyone. I went out with the interns quite often and we always had great fun.
There were some opportunities to get involved with the business and with members from the business in events organised for outside of work. It was great to talk to these people in an informal environment and I made many good contacts through these events.
