  • A great variety of different tasks with responsibility

  • My manager is very supportive and interested in what I am doing

  • lots of responsibility and freedom, equivalent to any graduate/employee

  • invaluable as it will help form the basis of my dissertation

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The team is a lot of fun with plenty of laughs

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The department was used to having graduates not undergraduates and the programme structure was relatively loose. However the adaptable nature of the internship was great as I was able to do lots of different things with real responsibility.

  • The L&D scheme for undergrads is relatively loose but there are fun projects to get involved with and lots of training opportunities.

  • There are more opportunities for grads than undergrads but you get to know other undergrads/grads through working with them.

  • Cost of living relatively cheap

  • Coventry is very poor for nightlife but grads recommend Leamington

  • There are informal opportunities with colleagues in my team but not a lot of formal ones organised by the company.
