  • Plenty of work and opportunities to get involved in

  • Very friendly and helpful working environment

  • Management was very willing to let you get stuck and and learn from the surrounding engineers how to do the Job

  • Work load although naturally varying, was a good balance overall

  • Responsibility given was proportional to ability, and encouragement was given to take up more responsiblity

  • The ability to apply the skills gained during my degree has been invalulable

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Half the placement took place in the workshop, the rest was in the office, busy doing work that couldn't be done in the workshop!

  • Some of the work flow was left to me as a placement student, although this seemed disorganised at first it was a valuable opportunity for me to pick up projects that I felt benifited my personal development and

  • They paid me... Also they sponsor me for my final year, and automatically add me to an assessment centre for a graduate job.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Plenty of banter! Nice lot. Depends on the department.

  • Nothing at the Gaydon site, middle of a load of field.

  • Lived to far from work to comment
