The Role
It has been a great experience, it's a great company to work for and you get all the support you need.
I worked in a great team and they appreciate a lot the work interns do. I was given a lot of responsibility and I was relied on on vital tasks.
I had a great relationship with my line manager, great support. We had meetings on a regular basis and towards the end of my placement, we focused on career development only.
There were times when I was extremely busy (i.e.quarter ends), but there were times when I didn't have much to do.
I was given a lot of responsibility and I had a fully fledged role, not just an intern role. When other people of the team left and they weren't replaced, responisibilites got shared and interns got a fair share. I was covering for memebers of the team while they were on holiday as well.
The experience I have gained and the skills I have developed are extremely valuable for my future career. I would have never gained these skills at university and they will help me get a graduate job much easier.
The Company
The team was great and we had a lot of fun at times but because our team supported high management, the atmoshpere was more serious. On the other hand, it was really good in terms of exposure to high management.
The placement was set up very well, I had 1 month on-boarding and handover with the previous intern and the roles and responsibilities were established at the beginning.
I didn't do any training courses that the company had to pay for but I had the chance to do SAP specific training courses.

They are investing a lot in their interns, but nobody is able to come back as they don't have a graduate scheme in place. There isn't a possibility to secure a job before finishing your placement.
The Culture
We had a really good social life as we were a big intern community, we regularly went for drinks, night outs, birthdays
London is very expensive and the cost of living was high compared to the pay
Nightlife in the area I worked was not very good but we had good transportation links and we could easily get to places.
i.e. CSR (tree planting, Zero to Hero challenge), football for the boys, netball for girls.
