The Role
My team was extremely helpful. They created a very comfortable evironment so that I could ask all the questions that I had. That way I learned more.
My supervisor and I had daily catch ups so that we could monitor my progress and get some help when needed.
I believe that I had the perfect balance. I had deadlines set for me throughout the internship so there was always something to acheive.
There is nothing like on-the-job training. I believe that I learnt in 2 weeks what I probably would not have learnt in a college semester.
The Company
I was sat with about three different teams and yet it felt very often like one big team. Everyone felt very supportive and genuinely interested in my work.
The company invested A LOT. I am returning to college a transformed individual, with more accrued knowledge. The training sessions were endless and that is a plus!

Although I do not know where I stand yet, I am quite optimistic from my reviews that I am pretty much on the right track. Fingers crosssed!
The Culture
I believe that employees of the bank believed in diversity but some other interns did not. A bit more education could be done on the subject for incoming interns annually so no one feels left out.
Yes, there were. Most of the employees in the bank are always more than happy to tell you about stuff they are involved in and if it is convenient, they will encourage you to get on board. I got involved with Stemettes; I spent my weekends volunteering to teach teenagers how to code.
