The Role
my placement offered so much more than it promised. In 12 months I was given the experience of 3-5years of regulatory work. My projects were so diverse that they covered the complete responsible that a regulatory associate would experience in his/her career plus I was given objectives and a personal development plan. I could not have asked for a better experience.
my colleagues had a high opinion of me and they made their opinion know as they would often congratulate me on my achievements.
my manager did an outstanding job as she was constantly making sure that i got the maximum exposure during my time there. Although she was incredibly busy and away on business she made an effort to make herself available for me.
On a daily basis i had to work an average of 1.5hr extra. the workload is large and regulatory associates are expected to deliver at a short notice
At the start of my placement, I made it clear that i wanted responsiblity and soon after I was running my own projects and fully responsible for representing the regulatory function at project meeting on my own
