The Role
Really enjoyed the projects I was given and was able to work with a variety of people within the team. Had great socials with colleagues after work and met a lot of interesting people at a variety of levels.
A very busy team, so not always able to chat.I was always invited to socials and lunch to mix with team and felt the work I completed was appreciated.
I had a very encouraging and supportive counsellor, who sorted me out experience in a different line I was interested in and was able to help me achieve the goals I wanted.
Some day I had plenty of work to keep me going and it made the day go very fast. Some days when I was between projects I was not so busy however was provided with a case study project to keep me busy in downtime, which I presented at my final interview
My first few pieces of work involved converting slides to work doc, so not huge importance but further on the work I was involved in was more important and actually contributed to the final results of projects.
Not necessary my degree but definitely in my grad job, I learnt how to present work professionally and how to work in such an environment.
The Company
People were very busy so limited chit chat, but everyone was friendly in passing and willing to stop their work to help when needed.
Internship organisers had provided buddies and counsellors with plenty of info with regards to what we were expecting from them and the department I was in had work ready for us on our first day so no waiting around.
Had various people within team taking time out of work to talk to us about their work and also give presentations on relevant parts of the industry. Very in depth induction about the firms morals and goals.

The Culture
Two socials organised for first week and then one final 3-course dinner event. Left to sort ourselves in between these but everyone was keen to meet up and catch up.
Standard London prices and all work socials were on expenses so no worries.
Plenty of nice bars and restaurants nearby to the office
Multiple department socials and had opportunity to play for firms netball team
