The Role
The work was genuinely interesting and the rapport with my colleagues was thoroughly enjoyable.
I was constantly busy and was always thanked for a job well done. Initially the work was very mundane with very simple filing jobs being my main focus but as relationships grew, I felt that more substantial and important duties were entrusted to me.
I felt comfortable in asking questions regarding any aspect of the company's dealings and special efforts were made to explain complex concepts.
The work load fluctuated massively but was intense for most of my internship time.
See previous comments.
Although not directly relevant to my language studies, personal qualities such as an increase in self confidence and work drive are benefits that I will take back to my university studies.
The Company
See previous comments.
Everything went very smoothly with the two day induction setting me up perfectly for the placement.
See previous comments re efforts made to explain concepts.

I was offered a full time position following my placement which I have duly accepted.
The Culture
I didn't meet any fellow interns as there weren't any within my department. However, the office would go for drinks following any success/appointment. I was pleasantly surprised by the time it took for us to go for drinks after I had announced I had been made an offer of a full time position!
I lived at home and know the area to be very reasonable in terms of living costs.
Manchester is a very vibrant city for a 21 year old professional.
I played football (both 11 a side and 5a side) and cricket almost every week. I also played 3 or 4 games of squash at lunch time. All of the above was a really positive aspect of the job.
