About You
Informative, also a good opportunity to network with other undergraduates interested in similar career paths.
Not applicable as such. Bank was welcoming however.
Insight day was informative and there were enough opportunities to ask questions.
Gave me a real insight of the workings of the Bank, has made me seriously consider it as an option, however I would have liked to have gone into further detail about what each department does.
The Company
Good mixture of interactive and information specific sessions, on the whole was well structured.
Information specific sessions are in general dull but having a mixture of sessions livened the day up.
Travel expenses, lunch and time commitment would make it seem that they do care about their undergraduate opportunities.
Talking to employees was useful but first hand experience is the only way of knowing what it would be like and in an insight day this is not possible, but talking to employees certainly helped.
Information on structure and departments was a little more rushed than I wanted.
Everything Else
Travel expenses were paid of up to £35
Two different events for networking throughout the day and employees were very forthcoming.
Good, opportunity to enjoy lunch and a drink with fellow perspective employees and current employees.
Out of work opportunities were not discussed.
Useful if a career at the Bank interests you.
