The Role
Quite enjoyable at the beginning, but after 2-3 weeks there was nothing else to do and I struggled to do anything meaningful during the rest of the internship.
Brilliant colleagues, really nice people, however a lot of the times it seemed like they did not have the time to spend with me.
I was given guidance by the grad recruitment team in regards to what to do every few weeks or so, however I had to sort everything out myself as my line manager was always too busy to provide support.
Very bored! Anything to do was a blessing
None, I did a little bit of a project which was my responsibility but that was all.
I did learn about retail banking roles and the company but did not develop any skills.
The Company
Not everyone are happy with their jobs here
It was a great set up from the recruitment team, unfortunately the branch did not follow it through.
Nothing.... I did not feel like I was valued
Maybe I would work with the company, but not in retail banking.
The Culture
There were a few events, but too far away for me to travel.
I had to pay rent, food etc so it was quite a lot of money. The company did not assist with anything.
Did not get to experience it- because I dont know anyone my age in the area!
A few charity activities- they were good.
