The Role
The environment and culture created the perfect work-life balance. We worked hard but also had time to enjoy our time in London.
The team, the HR and the other lines of business always treated us like one of their own, never looked down on us because we were students and not as experienced as they were.
I had assigned a mentor and a buddy. Apart from my mentor everyone in the team was available in case I had questions. This also applied to the other teams that I interacted wit, not just my own.
There were some days that were pretty busy, but also days that were fairly relaxed.
I had my own project that I was responsible of, I had to go and communicate with different teams to ask them to set up some things for me, it helped me develop connection with different lines of business.
I learned much more than I thought I would. From a technical point of view, I never learned so much in so little time.
The Company
The atmosphere is relaxed, and everyone is very friendly.
Everything was set up for me when I had my first day in the office.
We had a lot of training which helped us develop some of the skills necessary for our job.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Very appealing, the company creates such a nice environment that makes you want to come back.
The Culture
Yes. The HR organised several events where we got to socialise with interns from outside our business line.
London is an expensive city, but our pay lets us take advantage of this.
I'm not much for nightlife anymore, I didn't frequent it a lot during my time here, but the times I did go out, it was always fun.
Yes they are. From different sport activities to volunteering, we can take our pick.
