The Role
Had lots of work to do, worked with some fantastic people, could have been started on work a bit earlier as spent a couple of weeks at the beginning with nothing to do
Not so much at first but now feel like an employee
Great supervisors, lots of advice and help given in a friendly way, everyone told me what I could do better and was not made to feel embarrassed if I did something wrong
At first not at all, now very busy every day
Lots of tasks to do, none were especially menial - was given the right balance of responsibility but not so much that I felt nervous about doing things wrong
Brilliant insight and first step into the world of work, taught me so much about the ofice environment
The Company
Usually very good, chatty and fun
Had neither a laptop or a desk for the first few days
Feel like the company really want me to be interested and to be a part of the team, I have learnt lots on e.g. excel and was invited to lots of meetings
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Very appealing, I would like a job very much (7 *s given as they have not offered me a job)
The Culture
Due to location, social scene was very poor
Bad location, not cheap
No nightlife at all
Enjoyed 1 outside-work activity when we went to a beer festival, but this was the only one throughout 9 weeks
