  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Fantastic internship in all areas: work, education, entertainment

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • I had a great team, who valued me highly and included me in meetings and discussions. When I raised issues, they immediately came to listen and resolve them.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • Always had time when I asked for help and guided me to develop a good practice of letting them know how far I've gotten with the work.

    • Never felt bored and never felt stressed.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • I had as much responsibility as a normal employee. My projects were mine :)

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I got great experiences of how to work in a team and how to manage code that gets integrated into a larger codebase.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • More than enough fun to keep you happy, but not enough to distract you from doing your work.

    • Couldn't wish for more.

    • They want to see how great you can be when you have the opportunities and tools to do so. Thus, they invest quite a lot into their interns to see the results.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Absolutely amazing! Weekly events in sports and games, and many other ones!

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • As good as Greater London can get.

    • Didn't really try out much.

    • As mentioned, there are many non-work related activities organised from people at the company. Enfield also offers a few activities of its own.
