The Role
Engaging, challenging work in a great atmosphere.
Felt like I was actually contributing to my team, and they were interested in what I had to say.
My manager spent an incredible amount of time supporting/teaching me.
The hours were fairly flexible, and there was an incredible amount of social things to do outside of work time.
All my work was set by and had to go through my manager, but I felt very free within that to do things my way.
I learnt a great deal about coding and developing, but perhaps even more about communication, structuring/planning work, and working within a team.
The Company
Although I worked hard, the atmosphere in the office was very relaxed, and friendly.
Very well run throughout in my opinion.
An outstanding amount of time (and I'm guessing money too) was invested in me. Not only did this make me feel really valued, but also helped me improve and develop much faster than I would have done otherwise
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
It's a place I can see my self enjoying working in the future, and they seem like they'd be happy to have me back for another internship or interview for a full time job in the future.
The Culture
A really great social scene, especially as so many interns live in the company housing near the office.
Effectively London prices
If we wanted to do things in the evening, we'd generally not go out, but go to one of the company houses, as the nightlife in Enfield is fairly bland.
A huge variety of clubs, and sporting events that meet up during lunchtimes or after work
