    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Great year at SAP - given real responsibilty, involved in lots of different projects/events/activities, was pushed to get involved with activities outside of my role and was supported fully throughout my whole year.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt like part of my team and was given real responsibilities that had tangible outcomes.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Fantastic team support, always provided guidance, opened up opportunities for me and really help to push and develop myself.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • As I became a fully integrated member of my team, there was never really a quiet moment - always something to do!

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Again, became a fully integrated member of my team and so was given real responsibilities.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills I have been taught will be invaluable moving forward. A really interesting part of my placement year was that I was fully involved in recruiting my replacement; from reviewing CVs to attending the assessment day. I got to see what it is like to be on the other side of the recruitment process, and it really taught me some invaluable tips that I can use moving forward.

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • With 33 other interns, the office always had a good vibe. The office has also just been redocarated which has made a huge difference.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Well organised, and always felt supported.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • While I did not attend any training courses, I feel as though just the opportunities I have been given has been a great development point.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Subsidised Canteen

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • At the moment SAP does not have a graduate programme. They do have SAP Sales Academy, which offers an amazing opportunity to those interested. However, I do not want to work in Sales moving forward, and so this programme is not applicable to me.

    2/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Something going on every weekend. I was also part of the netball team which was a great social network.

    5/5

  • I lived at home, but London is quite expensive.

    4/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Not far from London, so loads of good nightlife around the area.
