About You
The day was well organised with enjoyable activities and networking opportunities.
Friendly staff and a number of group tasks providing time to interact with other attendees.
A good amount of briefing infomation before the Insight Day.
The infomation regarding Industrial Placements and the prospect of sponsored Postgraduate study, before or after joining the organisation was very valuable.
The Company
Very well organised timetable including lunch and coffee breaks. One recommendation would be to utilise group work rooms during the group exercises, although the experience of the MPCConference Room was very enjoyable.
A friendly place to work with approachable staff and a good level of socialising amongst attendees.
The Bank organised relevant activities in addition to providing career resources by email following the event.
A panel discussion with current employees including interns hekped understand the working culture of the Bank and the different departments (many of which I would not have known existed beforehand).
In addition to the above, speaking to current interns during a networking lunch was useful, although a guided tour of the Bank would have helped me understand the working enviroment more.
Everything Else
Partly reimbursed train travel.
Yes. See above.
Yes. See above.
I don't recall this being discussed although I may be wrong.
Yes. This is an eye-opening opportunity and a chance to see the Bank beyond Monetary Policy.
