The Role
Got on very well with people in the branch and was well looked after by people high up in the business.
Regular training was provided and your progress monitored by the training folder, with incentives and a promotion at the end (target 8-9 months)
Very busy!
I ran the office of one of the larges branches in the East Midlands on several occassions.
Time management skills will help a lot with university work. Being more proactive towards tasks will also help.
The Company
The office had a very friendly atmosphere almost all of the time.
Very well organised as it was the first year of the graduate scheme that I took part in.
Regular training in groups at head office, as well as training within the branch.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
A clear career path is given for you, and the promotions are very acheivable. However there are few jobs available in 'administration roles' (sideways movements)
The Culture
No. I was the only placement student in my branch.
Fine.
Nighlife in Nottingham is excellent.
Few. However, the company is happy to donate to charity (they did this on occassions during my time) and you can therefore get involved in these projects.
