The Role
A really great experience all round.
Loads of support and guidance on technical aspects of the job, the senior members were all very willing to take 5 minutes (or more!) to explain the work I would have to do and go through anything I didn't understand. They were very patient and there was no assumed knowledge which was wonderful as I was not coming from a 'relevant' degree.
Just the right amount of work, enough to do but not so much that I felt overwhelmed. Occasionally after completing some work there would be 10-20 minutes waiting for other jobs to come through, but I was never without something to keep me occupied for more than an hour.
Totally responsible for the work that I was given, but it was aways reviewed by a senior member of staff.
The Company
Very lively and lots of fun. Everyone was very friendly, welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home.
A little disorganised as it was the first time that particular office had taken interns on, but the problems weren't so bad that it ruined my experience.
