The Role
Overall a very good internship and a valuable experience.
I was given far more responsabillity than I expected to get.
I was actively encouraged to ask questions and people were always around to answer those questions and guide me through complicated processes.
Generally had a lot to do and a good balance. A few days I felt a bit overworked, this was primarily due to long distance journeys going to clients that were far away, extending the day by a couple of hours.
I was given far more responsibility than I would expect for an intern to get, this was very encouraging and added a lot of value to the internship.
Business knowledge will be very valuable for the business module's I take as part of my degree, I think my work ethic will be better over my degree. I have gained valuable business experience and know that I would like to work in this area now.
The Company
Generally positive, warm and friendly
A few times I was confused about what I was doing, but the organisation was very good overall.
Lots of responsabillity, and lots of people taking the time to teach me and explain concepts to me.
Definitely want a job with them, don't know if I have got it yet.
The Culture
Social scene was okay.
I was in a fairly expensive area.
I was away over weekends and didn't sample the nightlife
Football and some other activities were available.
