The Role
I am glad I went but felt very awkward there and under appreciated
I wasn't introduced to anybody. Nobody there really appreciated you helping them out with jobs which they didn't have time to do
If i asked for help, they would help but apart from that not really
I always had something to do so was never sat around bored
I was left to get on with my own work and went out to collect vox pops unassisted
there was nothing I did at Bliss that I couldn't already do
The Company
The office was pretty much silent, I know they are busy but I found it quiet that it almost felt awkward. There didn't seem to be much atmosphere and love as a whole temam
When I first organised the placement they were great but after that I heard no email response from them even when I tried to contact them. There was always things for me to do when I got there but I think that's because they have lots of work experience students
I was only there a week so wasn't really the opportunity
I think it would be fun to work at Bliss as long as it wasn't on work experience. I didn't like the atmosphere so wouldn't consider going back!
The Culture
A few members of the team seemed to get on quite well and socialise together. I wasn't invited anywhere with them but maybe as I was only there a week
Tunbridge Wells is quite expensive but a nice place.
Didn't explore much, I think there are a few bars. Not sure about whether there was any clubs
Nothing was organised/mentioned to me
