The Role
Found the internship invaluable.
Treated like a member of the team. Had continuous interaction with them and are extrememly understanding and helpful.
I was not given too much support as I need to learn how to fend for myself but I was guided appropriately (where neccessary) in the correct direction.
I had various tasks to complete ... Of which I believe I balanced brilliantly with the help of my team and my diary.
I was given a huge responsibility during my placement which didn't feel like a burden to carry - more like a priviledge to work with such a project.
Went on to 3 excel training course which helped me enhance and perfect my excel skills.
The Company
The perfect balance was provided - created a good, positive atmosphere - even when deadlines needed to be given.
Brilliantly. It was well thought out - all the way from the induction to getting to know other interns, up until the very end to know the next steps if staying with BOE.
A large amount was invested in me. Not just time, but money also - due to various excel courses.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Got excellent feedback and was told that they could see me working within the Bank in the future.
The Culture
Weekly social events/parties/lunches/dinners.
Relatively affordable - but, very expensive also. Cheaper for me as I was able to commute from my home in London.
Nightlife in London is always excellent.
Football opportunities to charity.
