  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • A very enjoyable experience.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Team members are all very friendly and helpful. I was given a real project to get involved with. However, would like to be given an overview of my division.

  • Very supportive manager and team members. Have an intern buddy allocated to me for any queries as well.

  • I always had something to do but I could also have handled more.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given some tasks to do from the start but this gradually improved with quality. At the end, I was working together with all team members instead of just one from the beginning.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Not necessarily assist degree studies but have gained many valuable transferable skills,

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Very casual environment, people buying coffee for each other, very friendly.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It is very organised once the internship has actually started. However, I did not heard anything from HR until 2 days before the placement! And my contract only arrived when I have worked 3 weeks for them already!

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • We had two intern sessions, one for all interns, one for only interns in our department. The training events felt a bit general.However, the graduate schemes sounded very attractive.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Graduate scheme sounded much more well organised. There are opportunities for you to do some banking qualifications too. Great place to start a career.

  • Yep.
