The Role
A very enjoyable experience.
Team members are all very friendly and helpful. I was given a real project to get involved with. However, would like to be given an overview of my division.
Very supportive manager and team members. Have an intern buddy allocated to me for any queries as well.
I always had something to do but I could also have handled more.
I was given some tasks to do from the start but this gradually improved with quality. At the end, I was working together with all team members instead of just one from the beginning.
Not necessarily assist degree studies but have gained many valuable transferable skills,
The Company
Very casual environment, people buying coffee for each other, very friendly.
It is very organised once the internship has actually started. However, I did not heard anything from HR until 2 days before the placement! And my contract only arrived when I have worked 3 weeks for them already!
We had two intern sessions, one for all interns, one for only interns in our department. The training events felt a bit general. However, the graduate schemes sounded very attractive.
Graduate scheme sounded much more well organised. There are opportunities for you to do some banking qualifications too. Great place to start a career.
The Culture
Yep.
Sometimes Milton Keynes, sometimes London
