The Role
It has been a great experience, a summer I won't forget.
Everyone was very welcoming and I truly feel like part of the team not just an Intern for 10 weeks.
Weekly meetings with my Line Manager and the encouragement to ask questions and ask for support was always present.
This varies on a day to day basis, but the majority of the time there was a good balance with the work I was attending to.
I was surprised by the amount of responsibility I was given, but definitely appreciate it! Being able to take responsibility for certain tasks and following them through has been great for my knowledge and exposure.
The networking, responsibility, team working and all the other skills and training that I've received over the last ten weeks will definitely help me in my future.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office was great, it was hardworking but also fun at the same time.
Once I started the internship everything ran really smoothly, with regular meetings with my supervisor and weekly plans. However prior to starting the internship the communication with the recruitment team about location/information was lacking.
They provide you with all the mandatory training but also try to make sure you get the most out of your internship by trying to give you the widest exposure possible. I would say they are deeply invested in their interns and you will feel appreciated.

I will be applying to the Graduate programme and hope that I am successful!
The Culture
It was great being able to socialise with the other interns as well, an ongoing lunch arrangement and some drinks after work means we were able to share our experiences.
I commuted in via the train only a 5 minute walk to the office and being only a 15 minute walk from the shopping centre makes it in an ideal location. There is also a range of restaurants nearby perfect for socialising.
I am yet to experience the nightlife, but from what I have heard it seems to be a good night out!
There were socialising events outside of work time, like quizzes, drinks etc.
