The Role
Very friendly atmosphere. Enjoyable work and I was challenged throughout
Very friendly colleagues, and a great atmosphere in the office throughout. My work was appreciated and there was lots of opportunities to meet people throughout all seniority levels.
Support was always available and regular catch-ups were provided.
Sometimes too little work for my level, but this was because my team was very busy with work that would have taken me too long to complete.
A fair level of responsibility which I felt was appropriate. I wasn't in charge of anything too important, as expected, but I was given the chance to create a report from scratch which will be delivered to a client.
I feel the experience has been invaluable and I know the knowledge I have learned will be very useful to me in my future career.
The Company
Very fun office, lots of opportunities to celebrate hard work and even day-to-day was made enjoyable with team chat and general fun.
Pretty perfect. Information was provided early enough so I could find accommodation for the summer. HR were very swift with train and hotel refunds for assessment centres and everything felt very organised when I arrived for my placement.
Lots of training available in the first few weeks and I was given the opportunity to attend lots of training sessions throughout my time.
Company Parties/Events
As I am not in my penultimate year, a job prospect is not available after my degree, but I would definitely consider applying after I have graduated
The Culture
Lunches and company days out were great chances to meet lots of people. Training for interns was also provided, allowing opportunity to chat to fellow interns.
Living in Glasgow city centre was fairly expensive so I would advise to look around before getting accommodation. But compared to most places Glasgow is fairly cheap to live in.
Lots of pubs and clubs to go to.
