The Role
Nice colleagues, lots of support and learnt in-depth banking knowledge and policy-making process
The most friendly working culture I've ever experienced.
At least once a week, my line manager and I would have a bilateral, and I received quite constructive comments to improve my research framework.
I could manage my time flexibly.
I was given an independent research project, an excellent opportunity to delve deep into an economic issue. In the end, I gave a one-hour presentation presenting my research results to the whole division.
Interpersonal communication skills, banking knowledge and state-modelling skills.
The Company
Collegiate, friendly and academic.
Interns can attend seminars, policy briefing, team meetings etc. There are also lots of socials and drinking after work.
My colleagues are very helpful and always willing to answer questions no matter how basic they are. I feel I've learnt a lot of industry knowledge.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
If I get a return offer, I'll take it for sure.
The Culture
People are very sociable. Interns organise weekly drinks and vote for the best venue.
Living in London is expensive.
There's a rooftop bar near where I work and it's awesome.
Lots of charity and volunteering activities.
