The Role
Working in Operations was completely different compared to what I've done before but it was a challenge and enjoyable
From my first day, colleagues treated me as if I were a permanent member of staff and that I had been there forever. I felt respected and valued, especially due to the challenging nature of work given to me
Management were always there to ask questions and offer advice!
Due to the nature of my role, I was involved in a lot of Project work and so I was always busy. There was a balance between being busy and having time to concentrate of smaller tasks
A lot! I believe I learned so much more and time goes much faster! E.g. when you have responsibility of a project and have to contact key stakeholders, different divisions etc to gather information.
I think the skills learned will be particulary useful when applying for Graduate roles next year
The Company
The London office is very corporate - but that's not to say it wasn't a nice atmosphere - it really is
I believe that it could have been organised with more structure
