  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Very enjoyable experience - well supported by team and good work/life balance.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • Really valued from the beginning - given responsibility and tasks from the onset although occasionally needed to ask. Also invited to social events.

    • Manager was supportive and helpful although contact was quite sparse.

    • Fairly busy

    • A fair amount after requesting work

    • Mostly excel / data manipulation work. Most useful was attending meetings.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • In general good, usually a few quiet conversations going on.

    • HR were quite unorganised, recruitment communications were sparse and poorly set-up. However once in the office the departmental organisation was good.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • In London so a lot of organised events / good social atmosphere.

    • London - so naturally expensive however that is to be expected

    • Plenty of pubs to go to after work and Shoreditch not far away

    • Plenty of events: pub quizzes, go-karting, football, drinks evenings
