The Role
Very much enjoyed my internship, work was varied and interesting and I learnt a great deal about the industry
I was set actual pieces of work that needed to be done, therefore my colleagues valued my contribution to their team.
I was often checked up on by my supervisors, and all of them made me comfortable to ask questions or ask for help if I needed it.
Most of the time I had tasks to do, but if I were lacking I always had my CSR project to fall back on so I never felt like there was not enough work
Over the placement I was given increasing responsibilitity which made me enjoy the work even more.
Learnt more about time management, organisation and teamwork - all of which will be useful to me in my degree
The Company
Very friendly and engaging office
I rotated between different sub teams every 2 weeks within my department which was great, so I was able to meet a number of different people and set many different types of tasks.
They spent time explaining things to me and allowed me to build upon what I knew, therefore showing they were willing ot invest in me.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing but have not found out yet!
The Culture
There was a great group of interns in London who met weekly for a social which made the experience even better
Lived at home but travel was expensive, as I cam from outskirts of London
Many bars, clubs etc. as it was in London
Not too many, of I was just unaware if there were
