The Role
I really enjoyed it, it was great to get an understand working within property in London, and experiencing everything else that working and travelling in London brings
Had the benefit of working in a small team where I could interact with other members of the team
I was given a lot of support when asked, but was generally expected to work quite independently, which meant I climbed a quite steep learning curve much faster than if I had been spoon fed
Team was very busy, so was thrown in at the deep end, which was great!

As my first experience of the property world, I felt it gave me a great foundation moving forward to my masters degree. Valuations was particularly good for this as it forms the foundation of the rest of the business
The Company
Work hard and play hard!
Well run with just a few minor hiccups. Had a couple of department overviews where the speaker didn't turn up
Had a lot of events and talks organised for us, as well as opportunities to network with developers and fee earners
I think it has given me a good foundation and point on my CV for applying to the grad scheme
The Culture
Yes, our grad mentors organised nights out, and we socialised within the interns
London is known as expensive so no great surprise
Near SoHo so good bars etc
Yes, lots of invites to play sport and socialise
