The Role
I enjoyed my time at Savills and would definately encourage others to apply.
All of the colleagues I worked closely with were friendly, helpful and made me feel like a part of their team.
I received a great level of support, particularly from the Graduate Surveyor who oversaw my day to day working.
I think I was given a perfect balance of work, I was fully occupied throughout the day, but not overwhelmed.
I was impressed by the level of responsibility I was given during the Summer Scheme, I felt that I was assigned important tasks that contributed to large team projects.
I think the skills I have developed during my time at Savills will serve me well when I return to University to study for a property related masters conversion course.
The Company
All the staff at Savills were friendly and approachable. Everyone was very committed to their work.
I felt the Summer Scheme was well organised and structed. From day one the team I was assigned to had work for me to complete. The links to the Graduate Recruitment Team were also good, which I was impressed with as I was in a regional office.
I was given the opportunity to take part in some interesting tasks and got the chance to visit sites etc.
Company Parties/Events
I will definately be looking to apply for the Savills Graduate Scheme.
The Culture
During a part of my placement, there was another student on work experience. We spent some time together at lunch etc.
Nottingham is a reasonably priced city.
I did not really have the opportunity to experience the nightlife.
I attended a party with clients and a staff lunch.
