The Role
I really enjoyed working for Enterprise Rent-a-Car. I was given numerous oppurtunites to gain new skills and experiences and I was well supported by my managers through training both on and off the job.
I felt very valued as part of my branch and area, my hard work never went unnoticed and my manager & area manager took time to give me the training I required in order to develop my skills and progress.
My managers were always willing to answer any query that I had and took the time to help me complete my training folder.
With Enterprise no two days are the same, it all depends on the fleet size of your branch. My branch had quite a large fleet which meant we were busier than most other branches in my area, but this was no bad thing as I was never bored or doing the same thing over and over again.
I my entrusted with a vast amount of responsibility during my placement. I was given numerous duties that I was in charge of completing and I ran the branch on numerous occassions.
The skills/ experience that I have learnt in customer service aswell as management will stand me in good stead for the rest of my working life.
The Company
We had a really happy and friendly atmosphere in the office. Everyone in my office got on really well which meant that we worked really well as a team. There was always alot of laughter in my office.
As an Intern you are in the same role as a Graduate on the management trainee scheme. The Management trainee scheme is really well organised, it is tracked using time based goals which allow you and your manager to track your progression.
Enterprise is very big on employee development. I recieved on the job training on a daily basis aswell as formal training session on a monthly basis. My development was further supported through the mentor scheme and training session with managers in numerous areas of the business.

I completed the Management Trainee Scheme so they have offered me a job after I graduate as a Management Assistant.
The Culture
My office was really friendly, most of the people in my office are of a fairly similar age group aswell so we would often go out after work.
I lived at Home so I had not rent to pay, I wouldn't consider socialising in London as particularly expensive depending on where you are going.
