The Role
Really enjoyable internship, undertaking some interesting and relevant work.
Immediately setlled in to the company.
All colleagues were happy to help and extremely supportive providing you with a good understanding of the pensions industry.
At the start it was fairly slow, but then after a couple of weeks the work really picked up and had lots to do.
As the internship moved on with time, more repsonsibility was given to the interns with less explanation to try and get the interns to undertake the work themselves as if in a real work scenario.
I can take back the skills on how to mentor back to university and can use the skills learnt in day to day life.
The Company
A real buzz in the atmosphere with loads of socials on offer.
Everything was set in place with little effort needed on the interns behalf to feel integrated and valued.
Spent time to carefully explain complex ideas and also provided trtaining courses of the industry and also the work that Aon do as a whole.
Sports and Social Club
If Aon feel an intern has performed well, there is a good chance of employment in the future.
The Culture
There were many events on throughout the internship providing plenty of socials, giving you the opportunity to speak with people from all across the business.
London is an expensive place to rent a house in, so I had to take a long commute every day.
London.
Plenty of socials and sporting events on offer to get involved in.
