  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • A Good variety of interesting work projects including varying degrees of responsibility.

  • As part of a busy team, other employees depend on you daily.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Good Appraisal system with the opportunity to discuss all aspects of your placement and personal performance. A well structured training programme also allowed support and guidance with day to day jobs and an opportunity to present to senior management.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Due to the nature of certain projects/work some days could be quiet, however, there was always something that could be done or improved further. At some stages I felt challenged by the amount of work I had to complete, particularly nearing the end of my placements, however, this allowed me to develop greatly.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • If you show you are capable and keen to learn then there is always an opportunity to be given more responsibility. At times I felt accountable for the success of a number of vital projects.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My placement allowed me to develop my core skills greatly. I really see this as a benefit to my work approach in my final year.

  • A great company to work for. There is a professional but relaxed atmosphere and as an IP you feel very welcome.

  • Clear structure and training programme.

  • A substantial investment in French lessons as part of the ADP training programme and also dedicated training days with a management company.
