  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I have enjoyed the learning aspect of my intern-ship and I'm looking forward to my chosen career path.

    • All colleagues have been friendly and helpful. I feel a part of the team.

    • I have been supported by all colleagues, help is always available upon request.

    • I have been fairly busy. However, in some instances I am left with little to do due to colleagues being away at meetings etc.

    • I feel I have been given lots of responsibilities without feeling uncomfortable.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • The skills I have learnt during my placement will be valuable when returning to university for my pgDip. I also feel more confident in applying for jobs after my studies.

    • The majority of people working within my office seem happy to be there.

    • I have encountered very few problems, I felt at home right away.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • There aren't many other placement students however work colleagues have taken every opportunity to invite me to social events/lunches.

    • Having studied in Birmingham previously I am used to the cost of living etc.

    • I have lived in the area forever.
