The Role
The Company
The placement was well set up and the application process was explained throughly at the start. I had the idea at the start of my internship that you would just be a supplement to the staff that were already there, however, it became apparent that you were an important part of the team. It was great to have that responsibilty, but the first week was quite stressful, so a bit more time to settle in would have been good.

The Culture
A really good team was in place, where everyone got on so well since we all had similar personalities to be successful in the company. You definitely make friends for life.
It was absolutely fine for me because I had family here already, but I know the area is quite expensive to live in and to socialise. There never seemed to be a struggle though.
Everyone I worked with enjoyed nightlife so we had frequent nights out which were really fun and allowed us to bond outside of work.
