The Role
Work was highly varied and engaging for the most part and I was given a reasonable amount interesting tasks.
Colleagues were very complemental and appreciated any help I could give during my internship.
Managers were very helpful in general and always approachable even when busy - not always available due to vacations in August.
I had work to do throughout the internship but was able to progress at my own rate, and get as involved as I choose. I never 'needed' to stay late nor was I ever waiting around for very long.
Given plenty of responsibility.
+ Project management skills + Communications & Teamwork skills Both will be relatively useful in career & studies
The Company
I worked in two different offices. One was quite quiet and there was less of a community - the other a much better and enjoyable atmosphere. It really depends!
Well organised throughout with just a minor problem setting up on the first couple of days.
Lot's of training throughout: A week induction + weekly speaker series & on the job training.
Good.
The Culture
I wasn't staying in the same accommodation as many interns but still a good scene.
London - so pretty expensive both in housing, transport and eating/drinking.
London - so very good but expensive. Not far from shoreditch or central bars & clubs.
One community affairs day, a few networking dinners/drinks.
