The Role
It was a great experience and a really good internship. I enjoyed every minute of it.
All of my colleagues were very welcoming from the start, they were all very willing to help me with the job I had to do. All of the input and ideas that I had were taken seriously by them and that really made me feel valued as an intern.
As I said previously, all of my colleagues were very helpful when it came to advice and guidance. Whenever I had any questions, they were answered quickly and satisfactorily.
Very busy but not to the extent that I couldn't handle it. Although there was a lot of work to do, I never felt like I was overworked.
I was given jobs that the current employees in my team would do which was actually not what I was expecting. I expected to be given jobs that only interns would do, so it was a nice surprise to be given so much responsibility.
I feel like a better person after this internship. It has improved me more than I thought was possible from such an experience. I have learned to be much better at communicating and working in a team which will be invaluable for the rest of my degree and in the future.
The Company
The office was very formal. I expected this but the atmosphere for working was very nice indeed. I could freely communicate with my team members and I could ask any questions I had. I felt like I had a lot of freedom to do what I wanted without being bogged down with the formality of things.
It was perfectly set up. There were never any times where I thought that it was badly organized. Everything from the work I had to do to the company events felt like they were planned well in advance.
They gave me all the support that I needed to do my job effectively and I had the option to take on further training if I needed it.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
I secured a graduate position with them!
The Culture
All of the other interns an my colleagues were very friendly. We always had a good time when we went out for lunch or to the local pub.
It was expensive but wasn't anything surprising.
All of the clubs in the area were awesome. I had a great time at them and I'm sure the other interns also had a good time.
We were given the opportunity to attend a few company events and dinners.
