About You
I had a really great time. I really felt I got to know the team I was working in and Savills as a whole, even though I was only there for a short time.
I did feel valued whilst I was at Savills. Although the jobs I was given were small, all of them were necessary for the team to carry out their jobs.
Lots - I could ask questions at any point, and never felt I was burdening anyone.
My team have helped me set up my new internship at one of their student accommodation companies clients, therefore what I've learnt in the short space of time, I will apply to my next role.
The Company
Thought it was really well structured. Throughout the 4 weeks, there are talks on the different sectors of property, grad nights out, and tours around the city. All these helped me understand the company, and get the most out of my time here.
I thought it was a really good atmopshere, everyone was really friendly, it was a really sociable atmosphere.
My Mentor was always on hand to help me out if I got stuck and once I had done a piece of work, we would go over it, checking what I had done, and where it could be improved for next time.
I felt I got a good insight into what job I could have here. I would have liked to have gone on more site visits or client meetings, however August is a quiet month for the team and therefore I was unable to go out as much as I would have liked.
I think it did. Obviously I was only able to experience one team and a few of the social events that Savills puts on, however it did give a taster of what the Company was about and how they work hard to acheive the best, but also take time to get to know each other, to create a better atmosphere within the office.
Everything Else
We were paid a month's wage for our experience, which will cover my travel to and from London.
Yes there were several social events including Softball, and rounders. There was also a fee earners lunch in the last week.
Really good. Every Thursday there was some sort of event to get to know the other employees of Savills.
So I heard there were things like Bootcamp that go on at lunch time, however this was about all.
Yes, definitely.
