The Role
Excellent team, enjoyed all aspects of the internship. I hopefully will have the opportunity to come back!
Very much so, I was given a variety of tasks where I was able to contribute to client work. My manager said I was an asset to the team.
Always at hand to help out or further explain things if there were any issues.
Generally I was very busy, working through lunch was common (although I was unfazed by this).
I feel like I was given a lot of responsibility! It probably helped that I came from a university background which meant I had a good understanding of the pensions market and therefore was able to excel.
It has been invaluable work experience, and has confirmed by ambitions to work in Investments!
The Company
A good combination of hard work with some banter added in for good measure :)
Yes, in general very well.
Company Parties/Events
Not sure if I have a job yet (it's the last day). However, I believe the company will be reducing the number of graduates in future years and instead outsourcing more work offshore.
The Culture
Fair
Good
Attended a few investment manager dinners.
