The Role
Really enjoyed it
Everyone was really friendly and welcoming
Everyone was always happy to answer questions I had and would explain everything thoroughly so I had a better understanding
Relatively, there are always quiet moments in any internship but the majority of the time I had stuff to be getting on with
A lot. I would often attend sites by myself to instruct contractors. I would also carry out inspections and write reccommendations.
It was good to se ehow I can apply my skills I have learnt and also to learn new ones that will help in my final year
The Company
Professional but very enjoyable with a lot of friendly humour
Very, I knew what I was doing everyday and where I had to be.
Through the interview process and the internship itself, I think they have put a lot of time into helping you progress in your career and development
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Very Good, I would love to work for the company after graduating
The Culture
Yes there was, a couple of events a week including going for drinks and playing softball in Hyde Park.
Socialising was often subsidised by the company for all the interns.
Good pubs and bars
Yes, such as softball. I know a few other interns went to Ascot Races and the Cricket
