The Role
I did enjoy my internship as I was working for a company that I am passionate about
Highly valued
Not a huge amount of support. Left to get on with my tasks but help was given when needed
Some days I had lots to do, other days I had nothing to do by lunchtime!
Not a lot. Mainly helped out my manager and his colleagues.
I don't feel i gained or developed any skills.
The Company
My office was not a very busy one and only had about 4 people in it at any one time!
Placement was well organised and communicated well throughtout my time with CRUK.
Not a lot!
National Travel
From travelling to the office in London, I feel that if I had had my placement there I would have got a lot more out of my internship. Therefore, it is appealing if it were to be a job based in London, however, it would not be appealing to do regional employment.
The Culture
Again, I recieved all the emails from the other interns about social events they were organising which seemed fun and a weekly occurence, however, being based in Cambridge I could never attend these events!
I worked from home
